About Dr. Ryan Durkin

Ryan Durkin, MD, is a board-certified pain medicine physician and Chief Medical Officer of DYNAMIC Pain and Wellness. Dr. Durkin is based out of the practice’s St. Mary Avenue location in Pensacola, Florida.
Dr. Durkin was raised on a farm outside of Savannah, Georgia. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Georgia while majoring in Biological Sciences.
In 2007, Dr. Durkin graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency training at Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems (formerly Medical College of Virginia), located in Richmond, Virginia, in 2012. After his residency, Dr. Durkin went on to complete a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesia at The Ochsner Clinic Foundation Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Durkin is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, American Board of Pain Medicine, and is also a Diplomat certified by the National Board of Echocardiography in Advanced Adult Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography.
When he’s not working, Dr. Durkin enjoys spending time with his wife, Trish, and their beloved Boston Terrier Rufus.
